A French naval frigate, Languedoc, shot down a drone launched by Yemen-based Houthi rebels. The drone was launched to attack the Norwegian-flagged oil tanker STRINDA off Yemen’s coast in the Red Sea. The French defence ministry said in a statement that the "Languedoc frigate, which was patrolling in the area, intercepted and destroyed a drone directly threatening the STRINDA."
