Indian opener Rohit Sharma scored his fifth century of World Cup 2019 in the match against Sri Lanka. With his score of 103, he surpassed Kumar Sangakkara's record of most centuries in a single World Cup. This was Rohit's sixth ton in multiple editions of the tournament, and with this feat, he equalled the record held by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. Rohit's ton helped India crush Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in the last match of the group stage.
