BHU Muslim Sanskrit teacher row: Fresh protests in favour of Firoz Khan

Banaras Hindu University is witnessing multiple protests over the appointment of a Muslim professor in the Sanskrit department. Some students have been protesting since November 7 against Firoz Khan’s appointment, citing his faith to claim he can’t teach Sanskrit. Other students have now come out to defend Khan.
