BJP releases first list for Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi to contest from Varanasi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be contesting from Varanasi constituency. BJP president Amit Shah will be contesting from Gandhinagar. Union home minister Rajnath Singh will contest the elections from Lucknow with Nitin Gadkari contesting from Nagpur. Union Minister JP Nadda announced a list of total 182 candidates.
