A male leopard was spotted at the Yamuna Biodiversity Park in Delhi. A villager spotted an “unusual species” along the riverbed and frantically called the scientists at the Park. This is the first time a leopard sighting here has been caught on camera. Scientists believe that he may have travelled from Kalesar National Park in eastern Haryana. Also, the leopard had a hanging belly, which makes experts conclude that the environment in the Park is conducive to the survival of carnivores.
