Congress leader have submitted a notice seeking the removal of Chief Justice of India Dipak Mishra. But removal of the judge is not that simple. A judge can be impeached only on two grounds- proved misbehaviour or incapacity or by the order of the President. The process of removal involves votes from the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. The President can pass an order to remove the judge if both houses pass a motion with a special majority. So far, no judge has been removed by the Parliament.
