Heat wave intensifies in north India, temperature touches 48 degree Celsius

Heat wave intensifies in northern plain of India as mercury shoots up to 48 degree Celsius. The highest temperature was recorded in Rajasthan's Churu with 48.9 degree Celsius. The heat wave is impacting the farmers in UP and various other places. At least ten Indian cities are among world's 15 hottest.
