Indian Military Academy hosts colourful passing out parade
In the run-up to the passing out parade at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), the Commandant’s Parade was held on Saturday in Dehradun. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat also attended the passing-out parade. This year 432 Cadets are graduating from the academy. General Bipin Rawat also addressed the gentleman cadets after the parade. While addressing the passing cadets, General Rawat congratulated and welcomed them in the team by boosting up their confidence and enthusiasm to work in this field. He also emphasised on the entry of women cadets in the Indian Army and said that it would be a great step in several ways. A large number of schoolchildren from Dehradun, local citizens and Army personnel with their families and friends witnessed the parade.
