Mamata Banerjee unveils Karunanidhi’s statue on 1st death anniversary

DMK president MK Stalin & DMK lawmaker Kanimozhi participated in M Karunanidhi's 1st death anniversary procession. Former Defence Minister AK Antony was also present in the procession. Later, Mamata Banerjee unveiled Karunanidhi's statue in a ceremony. Stalin invited the West Bengal CM as a guest for the ceremony. M Karunanidhi was the longest-serving CM of Tamil Nadu. He passed away at the age of 94 after a period of prolonged illness.
