Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reacted to incident of vandalism in Pakistan's Gurdwara Nankana Sahib. Puri said vandalism in Pakistan's gurdwara is a proof of the state of minorities. “Those opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act clearly don't realise what they are saying,” Puri said. Earlier, a mob surrounded Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan demanding the people detained in connection with the alleged forcible conversion of a Sikh woman to be released. Hundreds of people joined the sit-in protest that lasted till the evening and shouted slogans. A sizeable number of Pakistani Sikhs were caught within the gurdwara, and the demonstration ended after negotiations between the protestors and representatives of the local administration resulted in the release of the arrested people, reports in the Pakistani media said.
