SIT formed to probe death of police inspector Subodh Kumar

After the death of police inspector Subodh Kumar in clashes with police and locals in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, Additional District General (ADG) Meerut (Zone) Prashant Kumar said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the matter. He also said that two people have been taken into custody. Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh and a 21-year-old villager were killed as a mob went on the rampage against alleged illegal cow slaughter in Bulandshahr district of western Uttar Pradesh.
