Watch: Indian Army thwarts fresh Chinese attempt to change status quo in Ladakh

China is back to its old tricks as it tried to unilaterally change the status-quo on the southern bank of Pangong Tso in Ladakh on the night of 29/30th August. Indian Army said that the attempt made by the Chinese PLA was thwarted by India's forces and said that the actions of the Chinese Army were in violation of the consensus reached during military and diplomatic level talks between the two sides. “Indian troops pre-empted this PLA activity on the Southern Bank of Pangong Tso Lake, undertook measures to strengthen our positions and thwart Chinese intentions to unilaterally change facts on ground,' Army Spokesperson Colonel Aman Anand said. India and China have been engaged in a tiff along the LAC in Ladakh since May 2020 and it led to the violent faceoff in Galwan valley on June 15th, 2020 in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. The two sides have held several rounds of military and diplomatic talks in the last two-and-half months but no significant headway has been made. Watch the full video for all the details.
