One terrorist has been eliminated by security forces during an encounter in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter started when terrorists fired at a search party that had launched a cordon and search operation after input about presence of terrorists in the area. Security forces then fired back killing one terrorist. An AK rifle has also been recovered from the encounter spot. Seven terrorists have been killed in the valley in the past week.
