Police use water cannons as BJP clash over electricity hike in Kolkata

Police resorted to using water cannons against BJP workers who organised a rally against electricity hike in Kolkata on Wednesday. BJP youth wing organised a rally which was headed towards Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) office. Violence broke between the police and BJP workers and police used water cannons to disperse the crowd. A few BJP workers were also taken into custody while some were injured in the violence.
