100 hospitalized with food poisoning symptoms in Bijnor

At least 100 people have been hospitalized with suspected food poisoning with a dozen others in serious condition,in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place at a wedding in Bhojpur village of the district,where people fell sick after eating the food. A team of officials,including the Chief Medical Officer of the district,has been sent to the village to look into the matter. The victims are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bijnor. Among those who have been admitted,12 are being said to be in critical situation.
