5th International convention of Dalit & Minorities

The fifth International convention of Dalit Minorities began their two day seminar in New York on Friday. The convention is organized by the American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin or AFMI with the theme of 'Empowering the powerless'. India's Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan in his inaugural address called for empowering the deprived through education and employment.
