A healer spring in the hills (the video is loading, may take long. Please bear with us...)

Tourists are thronging a hot water spring near Ringi Van Panchayat situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, amidst a magnificent Himalayan vista. Declared as a protected site under Indian Forest Act 1927 and Van Panchayat Regulation 2001, the spring is considered a part of the Nanda Devi biosphere reserve. The mud around the place also has medicinal qualities and is used for cosmetic purposes. Chamoli is studded with major pilgrim centres amidst snow-clad peaks and exceptional natural beauty.
