Air India travelers in Mumbai were stranded as the employees of state-run Air carrier continued their strike for its second day on Wednesday. The employees gave the call for the strike to protest against the gag order and show-cause notice issued to two of its employees, which resulted in the cancellation of several flights. Apart from the gag order that was issued after the air crash at Mangalore on Saturday, non-payment of salaries was another issue that forced the staff to go on strike. Meanwhile, the Air India management has taken a tough stand against the strike, saying it could sack the employees if they don't return to work today.
