Akhilesh visits Muzaffarnagar, cop suspended

Facing flak from all quarters over communal clashes in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district and adjoining rural areas, the state government today suspended the riot-torn district's Senior Superintendent of Police for allegedly failing to contain violence in the district.
