Allahabad gears up to host Maha Kumbh Mela

Allahabad is gearing up to host the first mega edition of this century's Maha Kumbh Mela, with thousands of Naga and other Sadhus assembling in the state for the grand occasion. Along with hundreds of dancing devotees, they took out a colourful procession to mark the occasion as a 'curtain raiser' to the mega fair on the banks of River Ganga and River Yamuna, in which millions of devotees as well tourists from abroad will be participating in the event.
