Applications for Haj 2010, an annual pilgrimage of Muslims are pouring in large numbers in the Haj Committee office in Maharashtra. The Haj Committee of India had started the first stage for filling up the forms on Thursday. The closing date for the first phase is April 30. Muhammed Owasis, Chief Executive Officer, Haj Committee of India said that this year they are expecting almost 400,000 applications from across India. He also said that this year the cost of the pilgrimage is expected to increase.
