The much- awaited Bangalore International airport in Karnataka is all set to open from the midnight of March 30, 2008. The Managing Director of Bangalore International Airport Ltd or BIAL has announced that that the airport will be fully ready for operations. BIAL confirmed plans to invest $621.9 million in Phase II of the airport's development programme, which will include a terminal expansion and a new runway.
