Bharat Ratna for eminent scientist Prof CNR Rao

The government on Saturday decided to confer the Bharat Ratna, the nation's highest civilian award, on eminent scientist Professor CNR Rao. Prof CNR Rao is an eminent scientist and a well recognized international authority on solid state and materials chemistry.
