BJP accuses Govt of playing vote bank politics

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the central government of playing vote bank politics. Addressing a public rally in Bangalore, senior BJP leader LK Advani charged the government for delaying the hanging of Afzal Guru, because he was a Muslim. General elections which are to be held sometime in May would mainly see contest between the Congress party and the opposition Hindu nationalist alliance, headed by the BJP.
