BJP defends RSS chief’s comments on rape

Defending RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's comment on rapes being prevalent only in urban India, BJP said that he said nothing wrong. BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Bhagwat's comments should be not be read in a negative way as he was only emphasising the importance of Indian tradition and value system that teaches respect for women.
