BJP opposes any commitment to US over N-test

As the deadlock over the Indo-US nuclear deal continued, Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday said that it would oppose any commitment to the US for not conducting nuclear test. The agreement is the centerpiece of a new strategic relationship between New Delhi and Washington. However the communist party opposes the deal saying it compromises India's sovereignty and security.
