Echoing similar thoughts as the Congress, the BJP today also supported the sacking of pilots of the cash-strapped national carrier, Air India, since their call for a strike has caused much inconvenience to the passengers. Talking to mediapersons, BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy has stated that if the strike has led to ire among passengers, then the decision by Air India to terminate the services of ten office-bearers was appropriate.
