BJP unhappy with GoM's report, says it omits Anderson's escape

India's main opposition, Bharatiya Janata Party expressed its displeasure at the report submitted by the Group of Ministers (GoM) that was constituted to examine all aspects of the 1984 Bhopal gas disaster. The BJP cited that the report had omitted details about main accused Warren Anderson's safe passage from India just after the mishap. However, welcoming the enhanced compensation that the panel enumerated to give to the gas tragedy victims, the party lamented that the culprit company, Union Carbide, was set free easily.
