CBI interrogates Shahid Balwa

The CBI today interrogated Dynamix Balwas' Managing Director Shahid Balwa in the 2G-spectrum allocation scam. The CBI has got a two-day transit remand of Balwa who was arrested on Tuesday night from his residence. He will be also sent to Delhi so as to confront him directly with Former Telecom Minister A. Raja who is already in CBI custody. Balwa-promoted DB Reality floated Swan Telecom. Raja allegedly helped Swan bag 2G licences for 13 circles but Swan sold 45 per cent shares to the UAE telecom giant Etisalat for approximately Rs 4,500 crore within months of bagging the spectrum.
