Changes in BJP leadership not at the behest of RSS: Rajnath

Rajnath Singh, chief of Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday said that no consultations were held with the party's ideological parent, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh over the changes due to succession to the post of opposition leader. Earlier on Friday senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani stepped down for Sushma Swaraj to be elected as the leader of the opposition.
