Cong vs BJP over FDI

The Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today continued their sparring session over the introduction of foreign direct investment in the retail sector. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, BJP vice president, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi announced the party's decision to call for a nationwide shutdown on September 20. Mukhtar also said that all the parties which are supporting the central government would suffer wrath of the masses. However, Congress Spokesperson, Rashid Alvi, maintained that the decision would prove to be beneficial for the country.
