Contours of food security bill still to be sketched: Fin Sec

Finance Secretary Sushma Nath addressed a customary post-budget media conference in New Delhi on Monday and said that the contours of the food security bill are yet to be finalised. Although the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee spoke about the bill in his speech in Parliament, however no financial allocation was announced for it, raising doubts on the bill being passed in the current financial year.
