Creation of Telangana approved by Union Cabinet

Following a Cabinet meet at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's official residence in Delhi, the Cabinet gave a nod to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and creation of Telangana with Hyderabad as the joint capital for both the states for 10 years.
