Desperate monsoon measures: blackened face and empiricism

With monsoon yet to show all its might, people are widely resorting to some of the most bizarre and unusual means to bring in rainfall. Bogged down by the sweltering heat, a few people from Bhisti community in Rajasthan blackened their faces to appease the great Almighty for rainfall.
