Devotees defy fear, take holy dip at Haridwar

Fear of flash floods and adverse conditions in Uttarakhand failed to dampen the high spirits of Hindu devotees who turned in large numbers to take a holy dip on the occasion of Somvati amavasya in the river Ganges on Monday (July 08) in Haridwar city.
