‘Dimple’s unopposed win a historical event’

Samajwadi party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has hailed his daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav on her unopposed election to the Kannauj parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh, citing it as a historical event. Meanwhile supporters of the Samajwadi Party celebrated her victory by distributing sweets. Dimple, who filed her nomination papers on June 5, had earlier said that being the Chief Minister's wife, it would be a golden opportunity for her to work for Kannauj.
