DMK councillor demands Jayalalithaa's portrait be removed, what happens next will stun you

A meeting in the Karur Municipality got ugly today when there were calls for removal of AIADMK chief, J Jayalalithaa's portrait from the office. AIADMK members not only objected to this but also threw microphones and hurled abuses to mark protest. Jayalalithaa stepped down as the chief minister in September after a Bangalore court convicted her in the disproportionate assets case. O Panneerselvam is the new CM of Tamil Nadu.
