Environmentalists begin cycle rally from WB to U'khand

Environmentalists began a cycle rally from Jalpaiguri to Dehradun to highlight the deteriorating condition of the environment. The rally is being undertaken by the founder of the Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organisation (HESCO), Anil Joshi, to stress on the poor condition of the jungles and rivers, particularly in the Himalayan region, which has affected the environment and the livelihood of people.
