First phase of sports development plan for J&K finalized

Focusing on promotion of sports in the conflict ridden state of Jammu and Kashmir, Sports Minister Ajay Maken on Friday finalized the first phase of infrastructural development of sports in the state. Maken emphasised on the role of sports in moulding the energy of the youth. The Action Plan for Sports Development in Jammu and Kashmir has stressed on the need for upgrading infrastructure particularly in the games like football, hockey, archery, winter and adventure sports.
