Flood waters used for lotus cultivation

Floods may have devastated huge areas…. but a farmer in Dhanouri village of Punjab strikes it rich by making use of flood water for lotus cultivation. Sukhwinder Singh used the flood water to his advantage and has now become an inspirational example for many other farmers. Agricultural experts also agree that this is one of the few crops that can sustain in flooded fields longer than any other crop.
