Fuel price hike, much-needed reform: PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, while his way back home from Toronto where he attended the G20 Summit, rejected the Opposition's criticism of the government's decision to hike fuel prices, saying the move to free petrol and diesel rates was much-needed reform. Meanwhile, PM also urged the need for caution while going in for fiscal consolidation as many of the economies were still in a fragile state of economic recovery.
