Govt fails little girl's 'Mahatma' test

A simple question by a 10 year old Aishwarya Parashar on the Mahatma has put the Indian government in the spot. From the Prime Ministers Office (PMO) to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to the National Archives of India (NAI), none appear to know when, why and who named Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi the 'Father of the Nation'.
