Govt files affidavit on CBI’s autonomy, BJP doubtful

After the Centre on Wednesday filed a 41-page affidavit in the Supreme Court spelling out steps to bring autonomy in the functioning of CBI, the BJP reacted cautiously and said that it will have to go through the affidavit to ensure that all the recommendations are incorporated in the affidavit.
