Govt has betrayed us with ‘toothless’ lokpal: Anna

Even as the Cabinet cleared an 'amended' lokpal bill, before being presented in the Rajya Sabha in the upcoming Budget Session, social activist Anna Hazare on Friday slammed the government yet again. Calling the amended lokpal bill as nothing, but a 'toothless' bill, Hazare said that the Government had betrayed the people again. Hazare further alleged that the draft given by Team Anna was never presented in Parliament, the cabinet or standing committee.
