Social activist Ganesh Kondaliya said that deceased Indian civil servant D.K. Ravi was planning raids on big developers to unearth commercial tax evasion. Kondaliya said in a telephonic conversation with Ravi on March 12, the deceased officer had discussed about the real estate developers. In his 30s, Ravi was known for taking on land and sand mafia in Karnataka's Kolar district. IAS officer Ravi, was found dead in his apartment in IT hub Bengaluru late on Monday. Posted as Joint Commissioner in Commercial Tax Department, he was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his house.
