ICC announce award nominees, to be held in Dubai

ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat revealed the nominees for the nine categories, including the new Twenty20 International Performance of the year. Heading the list of nominated players are West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene and South African speedster Dale Steyn. The three players have been nominated for both cricketer of the year and Test player of the year.
