India and Russia seal new defence deals

India has agreed to buy dozens of Russian military helicopters and kits for the assembly of Sukhoi jets at a summit in New Delhi today, where the leaders of both countries reaffirmed their commitment to a strategic partnership. Addressing reporters, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that signing of the contract, facilitating the supply is a reaffirmation of their bilateral partnership.
