India and Thailand have agreed to boost bilateral trade turnover and double it by 2014. The decision came after Thailand Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, presently on a day-long visit to India, met his host counterpart Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at New Delhi on Tuesday. Earlier in the day Vejjajiva was ceremonially welcomed by Prime Minister Singh at Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President's house. The two ministers discussed a wide range of issues, the main focus of which was trade and security ties.
