The United States of America and India on Thursday held strategic dialogue in New Delhi to discuss a gamut of bilateral and multilateral issues. Foreign Minister S.M.Krishna presided over the meeting.The officials discussed ratification of the nuclear liability bill,scaling down of India's public support for Iran, opening up the economy and the award of contracts for 126 fighter jets and activities of militant outfits on Pakistani soil.The previous edition of the series of the meeting was held in Washington,which was co-chaired by Krishna and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in June 2010.
