International folk festival

Thousands throng the seven-day annual International Folk Festival in Kullu valley that attracts artists from various parts of the country. After being declared an international festival in 1972, the festival has assumed multilingual dimensions and cultural troupes from abroad perform during the festival. Various cultural programmes like dance, music and exhibition mark the celebration.
